The containers of the Moka series, in three versions of 5 hectoliters, 16 hectoliters and 30 hectoliters, which we succeeded with quite a lot of difficulties to realize with a single cold casting of our mixture of cocciopesto in mold and counter mold, then vibrated on a special bench to mix and compact the material (5 hectoliters made in two castings). Unlike our competitors, who use a metal cage, with the risk of creating harmful electrostatic currents in the wine, we use polypropylene reinforcing fibers in the mix, creating a structural spider web.
After 48 hours, the mold is opened and the product is left to dry naturally in the open air for a period of about 30 days, depending on the relative humidity and depending on the season in which it is produced. Subsequently the container is finished by hand and the required accessories are inserted, packed and ready for shipment.
All accessories mounted on the container: manhole cover diameter 500 mm. with five-point closure, door mm. 315 x 230 h. with silicone gaskets, transitions, tasters, thermometers, partial or total discharge valves, they are in AISI 304 or 316 steel, including the 4 adjustable screw feet diam. 30 mm.
